FIELD 02 / SAFETY

Boundaries should be visible before a conversation begins.

Kislap is designed for adults learning and connecting. Safety controls are part of the main flow, not an afterthought.

Adults only

Kislap is intended for people aged 18 and over. Suspected underage accounts should be reported and investigated promptly.

Approximate location

Nearby discovery should never reveal precise coordinates. People can deny location permission and still use city-level or nationwide recommendations.

Connection before contact

Learning profiles explain skills, goals and availability. Requests can be accepted or declined, and a declined connection must be respected.

Report, block and appeal

In-app controls let people report harmful behaviour and block unwanted contact. Enforcement should preserve relevant evidence and provide a reasonable appeal route when safe and legally permitted.

Dating stays separate

Dating is optional, disabled by default and limited to adults who affirmatively enable it. Learning remains available without dating preferences.
