Scope and who we are
Kislap is an adult learning and community service that helps people practise languages, share skills and make optional social connections. The operating legal entity and registered address must be added before launch.
Data we intend to process
This may include account identifiers and email address; display name, age confirmation, profile photos and biography; languages, learning goals, skills and availability; approximate or precise device location when permission is granted; connection, safety report and block records; and device, security, diagnostic and usage information.
Why we process data
To create and secure accounts, recommend relevant learning partners, deliver requested communications, enforce community rules, investigate abuse, comply with law, prevent fraud and improve reliability. Kislap does not intend to sell personal information.
Location
Location is optional. Nearby recommendations should use an approximate area, not display another person's precise coordinates. People may deny permission and continue using city-level or nationwide discovery.
Sharing and providers
Contracted hosting, email delivery, object storage, monitoring and content-safety providers may process data only as necessary to operate Kislap. Final vendor categories and cross-border safeguards must be confirmed before launch.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, people may request access, correction, objection, portability, restriction or deletion. Identity verification may be required to protect the account.
Retention and security
Profile data is intended to remain while an account exists. One-time codes should expire after ten minutes. Safety and security records must follow an approved retention schedule. Kislap uses encrypted transport, access controls, restricted credential storage, logging and backups.
Adults only
Kislap is intended only for people aged 18 and over.
